Sampling & Product Development at M.A Garments

Sampling & Product Development

Every order begins in our sample room. We turn your tech-pack, or a reference garment, or even a sketch, into a physical sample, managing the full development sequence: proto, fit, counter and pre-production samples.

Our pattern masters and sample tailors work closely with your team, logging every fit comment and measurement so each round moves the garment closer to what you actually want. Fabric and trims for development are sourced in parallel, so the sample represents the real bulk.

Nothing goes into production until you sign off a pre-production sample against your spec. That sealed sample becomes the reference our QC team measures every finished piece against.

  • Tech-pack interpretation and pattern making
  • Proto and first-fit samples
  • Counter samples in approved fabric and trims
  • Fit-comment tracking across revisions
  • Pre-production (PP) sample sign-off
  • Sealed reference samples for production
Fabric & Trim Sourcing at M.A Garments

Fabric & Trim Sourcing

A garment is only as good as what it is made from. We source fabric, yarn and trims from mills and suppliers we know and trust, matching the material to the construction, hand-feel and price your product needs.

Every incoming fabric lot is checked for GSM, shade, shrinkage and quality before it reaches the cutting table. We hold suppliers to the same standard we hold ourselves, because a fault in the fabric becomes a fault in the garment.

Whether you specify the exact mill or leave the material choice to us, you get full transparency on what your garment is made of.

  • Fabric and yarn sourcing to specification
  • Trim, thread and accessory sourcing
  • Incoming material inspection: GSM, shade, shrinkage
  • Approved mill and supplier relationships
  • Lab-dip and fabric approvals
  • Material costing and consumption planning
Cutting, Sewing & Production at M.A Garments

Cutting, Sewing & Production

This is where garments are made. Our cutting room and sewing lines take approved samples and materials into full bulk production, working to a time-and-action (T&A) calendar mapped against your delivery date.

Because production is in-house, we control it. We balance our lines to your order, track cutting, sewing and assembly milestones daily, and keep skilled operators on the constructions they do best. If anything threatens your ship date, we act on it directly; there is no third party to chase.

You receive structured progress updates with real percentages and photographs, so your planning is based on what is genuinely happening on the floor.

  • Fabric relaxing, laying and precision cutting
  • Line planning and balancing to your order
  • In-house sewing and assembly
  • Time-and-action (T&A) milestone tracking
  • Daily production progress with photo updates
  • Dedicated in-house capacity for your delivery date
Quality Control & Inspection at M.A Garments

Quality Control & Inspection

Quality is built into the line, not inspected in at the end. Our QC team works to the AQL level you specify, checking against the approved sample and signed-off spec at every stage of production.

We inspect incoming materials, run in-line checks while garments are being sewn to catch defects early, and carry out a final random inspection (FRI) on finished, packed goods. Every check is documented with measurements, photographs and a clear pass-or-hold decision.

Because we make the garment and inspect it, accountability sits in one place. If something is not right, we fix it on our own floor before it ever ships.

  • Incoming material and trim inspection
  • In-line inspection during sewing
  • Final Random Inspection (FRI) to your AQL level
  • Measurement and spec-conformity checks
  • Photographic defect reporting with pass / hold calls
  • In-house rework and re-inspection
Finishing, Packing & Export at M.A Garments

Finishing, Packing & Export

The last stage decides how your garment arrives. We handle finishing, pressing, tagging, folding and packing to your presentation and carton specifications, so the product that reaches your shelf looks the way it should.

We prepare and check the export documentation that moves your goods, including packing lists, commercial invoices and supporting paperwork, and coordinate with nominated freight forwarders on booking, cut-off dates and FOB hand-over.

The shipping schedule stays tied to our production calendar, so finished goods leave on the vessel they are meant to, with paperwork that clears.

  • Pressing, finishing and garment presentation
  • Tagging, folding and carton packing to spec
  • Packing lists and export documentation
  • Commercial invoice preparation
  • Freight-forwarder liaison and FOB hand-over
  • Shipment scheduling against the production plan
